How to play A Pirate's Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas, the free interactive treasure hunt game at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
A Pirates Adventure: Treasures on the Seven Seas is situated in the Adventureland area of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
Fans of the Pirate's of the Caribbean movies will love the chance to embark upon various missions to help Jack Sparrow defeat his enemies as they locate the hidden treasure.
This interactive game is free to play and is great fun for all ages. Plus, there's the chance to collect unique souvenirs along the way.
Note: One of these souvenirs used to be an extra FastPass for the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. However, since the introduction of Genie+, this is no longer the case.
How to play A Pirate's Adventure
1. Locate The Crow's Nest
Your quest begins at The Crow's Nest. This sandstone coloured building is situated opposite Tortuga Tavern restaurant, on the walkway between Frontierland and Adventureland.
Hint: If you plan to play A Pirate's Adventure at Magic Kingdom, check opening hours before you head over to this area of the park.
The building is often closed in the morning, usually opening at 12noon, then closing at 6pm.

2. Choose your quest and collect a map
Once inside The Crow's Nest, Cast Members are on hand to guide you through beginning your game.
You'll be directed to one of the themed desks, where you can tap in with your MagicBand (or an RFID card) otherwise known as your 'Talisman'.
A symbol will appear on the screen, indicating which of the 5 different quests you've been chosen to embark upon.
Your next step is to select the corresponding quest map from the display. Locate the correct symbol on the map, then you're free to follow in Captain Jack Sparrow's footsteps as you begin your mission around Adventureland.
3. Begin your adventure
Follow the route on your map to the various stations around Adventureland as you work through your mission.
Each quest takes about 15-20 minutes to complete, and incorporates 4 or 5 different locations.
When you reach the correct spot, you can activate each pirate themed special effect by tapping your talisman to the symbol. Then watch as the park comes alive with firing cannons, turning sand timers, talking skulls and even a panther with light up eyes.
4. Collect your reward
Once you've defeated those pesky pirates by discovering all the hidden treasures, return to The Crow's Nest.
Here, you'll be issued with a quest completed card. These cards and the maps are yours to keep as souvenirs of your adventure.
If you complete all 5 missions, you'll be rewarded with an additional card signed by none other than Jack Sparrow himself. This doesn't necessarily have to be done on one day, so consider spreading the adventures over the course of your trip.
However many missions you embark upon, I wish you luck in your quest to become one of Jack Sparrows recruits.
